MOSTLY-PRIMITIVE CAMPING,
WILD BUNCH STYLE
Prior to the opening of The Wild Bunch Women in Fall 2022, the three MHS Theatre directors, the MISD Fine Arts Director, and two dozen cast and crew members went camping for four days in Texas' Big Bend National Park in order to immerse students in the lifestyle of their character. Students and directors cooked three meals a day over a campfire (complete with hand-churned ice cream), went horseback riding, explored an underground cave, and, of course, rehearsed on the campgrounds!
